Chapter four: fabric investigation

I made astonishing discoveries. Synthetic voile bubbles over heat, cotton bump frays wildly, twin needles are a joy.

The samples have blogged slightly out of order. My apologies, I haven't worked out why.

There are fivesample boards: fabric samples 1 and 2, fabric investigaton 1 and 2, decorative fabric bands plus details from each.

Crepe

Organza, silks, cotton bump, crepe, vilene, net and chiffon.

Scrim

Detail: cotton scrim.

Muslin, linen, wool, silk, felt, muslin irgandie and scrim.

Linen, kunin, organza, voile and felt

Detail: Frayed linen scrim then threads pulled to distort.

Melted kunin, organza and voile.
